Frequently Asked Questions

What ages and grades do you support?
We serve K–12. The Catalog is organized by grade bands: K–2, 3–5, 6–8, and 9–12, so you can quickly filter for fit.
Are sessions one-on-one or group?
Most courses are small-group (3–5 learners) to keep costs reasonable and participation active. One-on-one add-ons are available in select subjects.
How are tutors vetted?
Tutors complete background checks, reference checks, training in child-friendly communication, and ongoing observation with feedback.
Do you guarantee grades or test scores?
No. We do not guarantee specific outcomes. We focus on consistent habits and clarity. Families receive short progress notes each week.
What technology do we need?
A reliable internet connection, a device with a microphone, and a quiet workspace. Our platform runs in a standard browser—no special downloads required.
Can we pause or reschedule?
Yes. You can reschedule within 24 hours’ notice pending availability. Pauses are allowed between course cycles so students can adjust their workload.
How do you handle homework from different schools?
We align to your teacher’s instructions and rubric. Tutors help students interpret requirements, plan steps, and check work before submission.
What are your billing policies?
Courses are billed per cycle. Refunds are available before the second session of a new cycle. See Terms for details.
Do you support students with accommodations?
Yes. Share accommodations with us and we will incorporate timers, visuals, chunking, and frequent checks for understanding as appropriate.
